GT: You drive an impressive Audi R8 Spyder, if you had the opportunity to get any car in the world, which car would it be?
FH: Lamborghini Aventador for sure!
GT: Do you have any advice for students that are looking to get into professional rugby?
FH: I always believe that everyone should follow their dream. If you want to get into professional rugby, you need to be committed and work hard towards your dream.
Be your best at all times and give your all.
GT: What are the best and worst parts of your career?
FH: The best part is that I can do what I love and getting paid for it! Apart from that, I get to travel around South Africa and also overseas. The worst part, I have very little free time available to spend with everyone I love.
GT: How much of your day is taken for training?
FH: At least half of my day!
GT: Who has influenced you in your early years, what about now?
FH: My biggest hero has to be Fourie Du Preez, till this day he is still my mentor.
GT: How do you maintain a good mental attitude before a game?
FH: I try to zone in at least 24 hours and completely focus on the game. Thinking of every scenario as well as how they game might play out. Mental focus is just as important as physical fitness
GT: How do you handle “Haters”.
FH: I try to ignore them. Unfortunately this comes with its perks and negatives. Luckily I have amazing fans that encourage me and I try focus on that rather.
GT: What is “hot” on your music player right now?
FH: Hip Hop, a little bit of R’nB. I love all kinds of genres of music
GT: What are other Hobbies or activities that you like to do in your spare time?
FH: Hobbies: I love playing golf if I get the time to do so. Spare time – spend time with sponsors, building my brand and most of all try spend time with family and friends
GT: What goals do you have for the future?
FH: I would love to be the best Scrumhalf in the world and live every dream I have!
