Hot Hangouts: News Cafe Newtown opens its doors!

News Cafe welcomes in a contemporary look & feel with their all new store design at the recently launched Newtown Junction branch. GoTrendSA attended the launch evening where glitz and glamour met with good company, great food and an even better vibe!

From delectable cocktails to delicious food, News Cafe is the one stop destination for a good time! Situated in the up-and-coming Newtown Junction centre, we were thoroughly impressed by the look and feel: ‘With a distinctly urban aesthetic, the bar features intricate detailing that embraces modern and elegant design. Décor includes intriguing floor murals, sculpted wooden wall accents and panels, cut-out ceiling patterns, an alphabet wall with words of inspiration, as well as an eclectic wall mural illustrating a man playing a saxophone. The bar has been furnished with luxurious couches and tables amidst a beautifully lit room, with a colour palette featuring shades of brown, olive and navy.”

We spotted some of our favourite SA personalities Fashion duo, Alan Foley and Krishen Samuel and fashionistas, Aaleya Omar and Atish Jogi. The vibe was well spent, while we got to catch up with everyone, all while sipping on some Appletinis!
