Premier Hotel Knysna – The Moorings Introduces Its Kids Play Area

National independently owned Premier Hotels and Resorts Group has launched its children’s outdoor play area at Premier Hotel Knysna – The Moorings. Located in Knysna, one of the Garden Route’s best known travel destinations, en route to the famous Knysna Heads, Premier Hotel Knysna – The Moorings, is less than 3 km from the town centre. The hotel is situated on the secluded banks of the Knysna Lagoon in the midst of enchanting woodland gardens.

The large play area is filled with fun kiddies equipment and is open daily to children up to the age of 7 years old staying at the property.  The new offering, boasts different swing sets, a giant chess set and a ship themed jungle gym. Picnic tables have been set up next to the play area so parents can let their kids play whilst enjoying some drinks and lunch. “With the Group’s strong service-orientated approach, we recognize the need to cater for all and continue innovating and leading.  We have therefore geared various hotel properties to be family friendly including Premier Hotel Knysna – The Moorings, Premier O.R. Of the Hotel’s 63 rooms, Premier Hotel Knysna also offers family waterfront villas which are situated on the private channel of the lagoon.  These family suites sleep up to five people with two bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms upstairs and a sleeper couch downstairs.

For beach fun, Bollard Bay Beach on Leisure Isle is the perfect spot.  At Brenton Beach there are rocks and little pools or you can enjoy beach walks and shell seeking.  Knysna Elephant Park offers guests the opportunity to touch, feed and photograph these gentle giants.

For adventure seekers try the mountain bike trails in close proximity to Premier Hotel Knysna – The Moorings, forest walks and hiking trails (approximately 8km from the hotel) and whale watching from outside the Heads which boasts close encounters with whales and dolphins.
