Liezel van der Westhuizen makes a serious case for the old adage “blonds have more fun”.
From being only the 2nd female in the world to present Idols to presenting lifestyle TV Show – EXPRESSO, Liezel is no stranger to South African audiences and with her sincerity and easy-going personality, it’s no surprise that she is such a hit on radio as well! Liezel can truthfully state that she never missed a day of school- not even once, not to mention a list of other achievements as long as a baby elephant’s trunk which include completing the toughest one day endurance race in the world – The Ironman and completing the Dusi Canoe Marathon. If this was not enough, Liezel launched her own Vlog, “Giraffe in the City” recently where she shares more about her hometown Cape Town with her readers. “I am so excited about this new venture and cannot wait to share short videos, product reviews and more with my readers. They can expect anything from fashion to lifestyle to technology. I think the blogging and online community is a unique and awesome thing and I want to be an active member of it, even if it’s in my own little corner here in Cape Town” Liezel says.
