It’s not everyday South African’s most influential celebs and media hit a night out on the town, this night especially we were all in for a treat. One of Italy’s hottest, most haute couture brands, Moschino finally brought their eyewear collection into SA in collaboration with Safilo, naturally, we were on the hunt for the glitz and glam and got all the juicy details for you to read about!
We headed out to one of Johannesburg’s most popular hangouts, the Sandton Sun Arque Bar. The already fab bar was transformed into a hub of fashion forward fun with signature Moschino golden Teddy Bears placed in all their glory and of course, their new collection of sunnies on show! With so many glamorous guests in attendance, there was much to do and see with the shades that had just dropped. No, literally! The new Moschino eyewear collection was in our presence straight from the catwalks of Milan after being showcased only 72 hours earlier!
Entrances were made when performance art trio Manthe, Tebogo and Kokona Ribane made a spectacular appearence down the stage dressed in all black and sported the newest range of Moschino sunnies whilst doing an futuristic and artistic piece on the stage.
From seeing our favourite celebs like Lerato Kganyago, Da L.E.S and Poppy Ntshongwana to spotting the ever stylish bloggers like: Anne Dolinschek from Breadsticks and Blush, Zaakira from Princess of Jozi and Tanya from Living Inspired the night was filled to the brim with Johannesburg’s creme de la creme of the who’s who! We also got to spot our favourite emcee, Taryn Louch who was also serving us looks with her Moschino shades and sleek all-black outfit!
