H&M launches its flagship South African store

Fashionistas REJOICE! H&M has finally landed in South Africa.

A host of celebrities such as Jimmy Nevis, Siv Ngesi, Jeannie D and Bailey Schneider, as well as Cape Town’s fashion elite, swarmed to the VIP launch of H&M’s flagship South African store last night (15 October 2015).

Covering 2 floors, the H&M store is a haven of clean lines, luxe decor and fashion (and home wear) for all.

The ground floor of the store is dominated entirely by the women and girls clothing departments while the 2nd floor is where you’ll find the menswear (including the David Beckham collection) and H&M Home departments.

Prices are less expensive than we’d expected from such a prestigious brand, hitting the sweet spot between Mr Price and Topshop, meaning that you’ll soon be able to stock your wardrobe with quality threads that won’t burn a hole in your pocket.

The store opens to the general public on Saturday 17 October 2015.

If you’re planning on being one of the estimated 13 000 people attending the grand opening in Cape Town, here are a few things you need to know :

For all our Johannesburg friends, H&M will be opening in Sandton City early next month.
