Starbucks expands menu with Almond milk and limited-time offers!
From 7 April, Starbucks will offer almond milk as a third non-dairy alternative alongside soya and coconut milk. This delicious non-dairy alternative will be available at all Starbucks stores in South Africa and can be enjoyed in any handcrafted Starbucks handcrafted beverage.
Almond milk has a thicker consistency that delivers a great froth especially if your favourite is a flat white, cappuccino, or latte while complimenting cold beverages with a great tasting smoothness.
It is 100% plant based, and an almond drink latte versus a semi-skimmed dairy latte contains 49% less calories, 38% less fat, and 47% less total sugars.
With thousands of ways to personalise your drink, customers now have another great choice to enjoy their favourite beverage any way they want.

Almonds are a natural choice for the health conscious. The combination of protein, fibre and monounsaturated fat found in almonds has been show to help people feel fuller, which tends to lower food consumption throughout the day

New additions and limited time offers
Adding more variety and greater personalisation, Starbucks will also introduce three more options to their menu.
The core menu now consists of Pike Place, decaf and the 3 Region Blend. The 3 Region Blend brings together all there of our growing regions. The blends is medium bodied that brings subtle floral and citrus notes to your latte.
This autumn, customers can treat themselves to the Salted Toffee Macadamia Latte and the Burnt Caramel latte. The Salted Toffee Macadamia Latte is a combination of espresso, steamed milk, macadamia nut syrup and topped with whipped cream and salted caramel sauce while the Burnt Caramel Latte combines espresso shots, steamed milk and burnt caramel syrup.
