Emirates’ premium and loyal customers can now look forward to even greater levels of comfort, hospitality and convenience with the opening of the airline’s new two-level premium lounge at the Cape Town International Airport in South Africa.

All Emirates First Class and Business Class customers, as well as Skywards Platinum and Gold members travelling from Cape Town to Dubai will have complimentary access to the new facility, which has the capacity to accommodate 123 people comfortably.

The lounge, which opened for Emirates’ customers recently, represents an investment of over US$2,89 million by the airline. It is conveniently located in the international departures corridor next to Emirates’ preferred boarding point at Gate A3.

“Emirates’ airport lounges are an integral part of our service and product offering for our premium and loyal customers. Our continuous investment in our airport services ensures we pay as much attention and focus on providing luxury and comfort on the ground as we do in the air,” said Mohammed Mattar, Emirates Divisional Senior Vice President, Airport Services.

“Designed with a focus on comfort and quality, this new lounge, coupled with our complimentary chauffeur drive service in Cape Town, dedicated check-in counters, as well as our award winning onboard service, ensures our premium customers have a seamless, comfortable and enjoyable journey from the moment they start their travel until they arrive at their destination. We expect to welcome approximately 65-70 premium customers on a daily basis at the lounge,” he added.
