The months are slowly but surely getting a little colder over here in Johannesburg. And that means we can start brainstorming an all-new Autumn/Winter wardrobe! With the world being tested in such a trying time, Nicci Boutiques, one of South Africa’s most loved Women’s olothing Outlets decided that rather hosting one of their traditional soirees with Jozi’s most fabulous, they’d instead invite EVERYONE to partake in the launch of their newest collection with an online sale and interactive Instagram experience!
Since 1992, Nicci has become synonymous with up-to-the-minute contemporary fashion from clothes, bags, shoes and accessories hand selected from the fashion capitals of the world.
Nicci’s latest collection includes a selection of transformable jackets that will help you move from Autumn right down to the colder months of Winter. Sneakers are in and with their range of P448 Sneakers! P448 italian sneakers represent a synthesis of contemporary lifestyles, street trends, and original ideas: the perfect combination of sportswear and fashion. All P448 sneakers are made in Italy, where innovation meets the fine art of manufacturing and the attention to detail, for a result of the highest quality, whose sporty and catchy aesthetics will not be easily forgotten. This and so many more items are now available online to check out!
Glampalm Hair was also in attendance on the virtual launch where they emphasised that their brand was all about change for the better and more specifically doing good by presented Ntethelelo Foundation with a R10000.00 cheque which will go towards looking after girls between the ages of 12-17.
We then stopped by one installation from a brand we’ve been obsessing over, French Lemon. Who had kindly provided and innovated a new range of sanitizing products to help combat germs in such a trying time, you’ll be able to check out their full range online at www.frenchlemon.co.za and you’ll want to pick up some soon because we know these are going to fly off the shelf. We’ll have a review up soon on their new range so be sure to check back!
Nicci also stands for fashion with a purpose and there will be a giant bag outside the Nicci Boutique in Hyde Park Corner for individuals to donate their gently worn pre-loved pieces. These garments will be donated to Dress for Success, a not-for-profit social impact organisation that improves the employability of women in need by providing, free of charge, professional clothing, a support network and career development tools. I think we could all use some of our self-isolation time to grab a few unworn items from our closets and when safe, head on over to Hyde Park Corner to donate them!
